Thank you for your interest in commissioning Brau Studios/Barbara Rau to do a portrait or mural painting for you. My goal is to work with you to produce a wonderful art piece for you to enjoy for years to come or to proudly give as a gift.

Brau Studios uses photograph reference to create your portrait. You can either send a high-resolution digital image on a CD, or a photograph, which should be a minimum of 5x7 in size, or maximum of 11x14. You are welcome to send more than one image to be used for reference of the subject.
Providing more than one photo, gives the artist the opportunity to study the subject from many different perspectives. Any photos or CD's provided by the client will be returned upon portrait completion.

When you commission Brau Studios to paint a portrait or portable mural from your own reference material, you are commissioning an individual piece of artwork, which is unlike any photograph you have.
